Growing up in dive bar culture, the jukebox was sacrosanct. Miller High Life is paying proper homage via its JukeKeg, a unique creation that transforms a Crosley jukebox into a functioning beer keg.
Built from a classic music box, the JukeKeg is part beer tap and part jukebox. It pours cold beer while keeping playing tunes through Bluetooth, CD player, and radio functionality. It includes a full ½ barrel keg setup, multiple lighting settings, room to stack your glasses, a slide-out keg system, CO₂ and regulators, and a $150 gift card to fill it with Miller High Life.
“Dive bars have always had an authentic way of making people feel connected,” said Chris Steele, Sr. Director of Value Brands. “The JukeKeg is our way of bringing that feeling to life with great music, cold beer, and the kind of nights people talk about long after they’re over.”
The brand chose to use a Crosley jukebox based on the brand’s classic design and connection to music culture. The JukeKeg will be up for sale starting Monday (June 1) on eBay, with bidding opening at just $1.23 — a nod to Miller High Life being 123 years old. The auction runs through June 8.
“In any good dive bar, Miller High Life and the jukebox have always gone hand in hand, and the JukeKeg is no different,” Steele said. “Somebody puts on a classic, cold High Life starts flowing, and suddenly the whole place feels like your favorite neighborhood dive.”
100% of the proceeds from the auction will go to the Wisconsin Area Music Industry, helping support the local musicians, venues, and dive bar spirit that inspired the JukeKeg in the first place.
