About

The Whiskey Lifestyle (TWLS) is a black owned creative collective that celebrates life through high quality products, original content, with impeccable style.

Griffin Moore – Partner

Like most bartenders, Griffin Moore came into the business by chance. A high school substitute teacher from New Jersey, he began bartending in New York City during his summers off to earn extra money. Behind the bar, he fell in love with the hospitality industry and whiskey–thanks in part to his mentor, George Ruotolo (owner of The Whiskey franchise).. Griffin came up with the idea for The Whiskey Lifestyle, his clothing and content brand, while working at The Whiskey Brooklyn. The idea was to create a brand that introduces people to whiskey, as well as all the things that inspire the people who drink it.

Will Pope “Phoenix” – Partner

Pope Phoenix, the Digital Mercenary, is a self taught illustrator/designer from the Bronx, who has 20 years of creative experience and has lent his talents as an Art Director to IBM, ESSENCE, BET, and more. In recent years he has shifted his focus to illustration and animation, which has allowed him to work with companies like Okayplayer, Affinity by Serif, and Comic Relief. He also devotes his time to mentoring up and coming creatives, providing them with guidance to survive the dangerous landscape of todays art world.
