Koopers Whiskey Returns Via The Prodigal Son

Koopers Whiskey released The Prodigal Son Bourbon in September in honor of Bourbon Heritage Month.

The 94.4 proof expression is a four-grain, sour mash bourbon whiskey crafted from a blend of four Kentucky Straight Bourbons aged 4, 4, 6, and 6 years and blended in small batches. Its name and spirit are inspired by the biblical story of the Prodigal Son, in which a father welcomes his son’s return with a celebration. Because sooner or later, after chasing adventures and finding ourselves far from where we started, we all come home.

For Texans, that idea of coming home carries a meaning all its own. The Prodigal Son celebrates the journey back: embracing your roots, staying true to who you are, and raising a glass to the people and places that made you.

Koopers Whiskey’s The Prodigal Son Bourbon is available for $61.
