Our search for great summer whiskey cocktails continues this week in Kansas City!
The Monarch, a bar whose cocktails we’ve featured before, recently launched its summer cocktail program. Bar Director Brock Schulte and his team have worked over 500 ingredients into the new menu. This cocktail stood out to us as it recalls the golden age of disco and is served on a disco ball coaster… Not that we’re young enough to remember disco.
Ingredients:
- 1 oz Johhny Walker Black Label
- 1/2 oz The Balvenie 14yr Caribbean Cask
- 1/4 oz Bols Aged Genever
- 5.0 oz fizzy coconut water
- Casein
- silver dust
Instructions:
Pour all ingredients except silver dust over collins cube and stir. Lightly dust with silver and stir for effect.
