Cocktail of the Week: French Fashioned

If you ever been at brunch almost anywhere in the last few years, you’ve heard a rosé pun or two so we won’t bore you with them here. And while we prefer to drink brown over pink, this week’s cocktail has us reevaluating a few things.

The folks at Maison Marcel Rosé have created a summer cocktail that anyone can enjoy. And just think how impressed your friends will be with that large format ice you made.

Ingredients:

  • 1 oz ultra premium Bourbon
  • 4 oz Maison Marcel Rosé
  • 2 dashes of Rhubarb Bitters
  • Large format strawberry-infused ice cube (details below)
  • Brandied cherry
  • Grapefruit peel

Instructions:
Combine bourbon, rosé and bitters into a mixing glass with ice. Stir until ice cold. Strain into a rocks glass with a strawberry ice cube. Garnish with a brandied cherry and grapefruit peel.

To create the large format strawberry-infused ice cube, add sliced strawberries into large ice molds. Add water and freeze.

Let us know if you have a cocktail recipe you love or if there’s a recipe that you want us to break down on social media with the hashtag, #TWLcocktail. Please drink responsibly.
