To celebrate Repeal Day, Old Forester hosted Taste Through Time events in Atlanta and New York.
The evenings included immersive moments inspired by different decades’ connection to bourbon since the 1920s. We started the evening in the speakeasy Art Deco era (see above) s part of Old Forester Bourbon’s Whiskey Row Series, the 1910 Old Fine Whisky, and the 1920 Prohibition Style whisky were served in the speakeasy, which also included a three piece jazz trio.
Along the way, stoped were made in the 1970s and 1990s, which both featured performances, interactive activations and tastings. In the 70s room, we grooved to “Soul Train” while tasting the 1870 Original Batch. The 90s era room featured a classic DJ sets (New York’s event featured Static Selektah) and an interactive graffiti experience that celebrated the era of street art. That was paired with the 1897 Bottled in Bond.
We ended up in the modern era with a taste of the limited edition annual release of Old Forester’s Birthday Bourbon.
