stock&candor is a project that we, Ben Wiley and Quynh Lai, created as a response to our Observations of the Food Culture present around us in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
We both are Passionate Cooks, striving to Learn and Share our past and present Culinary Experiences. We cannot claim to be the best at anything, but we will certainly attempt to expose dishes that we feel are missing in the area, with the (sometimes handicapping) Pride that keeps us from ever serving mediocrity. Luckily along this Journey, we have been Fortunate to connect, and make friends, with fellow Serious Eaters and Drinkers in our Community; to help evolve the Food Scene and provide a (hopefully) Memorable dining experience that leaves you excited for our next Meal.
