The reviews for “Coming 2 America” have varied widely, but this week’s cocktail is a sure-fire hit!
Crown Royal Canadian Whisky teamed with the filmmakers to create both a limited-edition bottle as well as signature cocktails like this Canadian take on a Bramble.
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 oz of Crown Royal Whisky
- 1 oz of lemon juice
- 1/2 oz of rosemary simple syrup*
- 1/4 cup fresh cranberries
- 4 oz cranberry ginger ale
Instructions:
In a Collins glass, Add 4-5 ice cubes (crushed if possible). Add whisky, lemon juice, rosemary simple syrup and stir. Add in cranberries and top off with cranberry ginger ale. Garnish with a rosemary sprig, fresh cranberries and/or a lemon twist.
*Rosemary Simple Syrup: Equal parts water and granulated sugar, 3-4 sprigs of fresh rosemary. Boil, reduce. Chill.
