This week’s cocktail, courtesy of Chicago’s Gage, admittedly reminds us one this JAY-Z song. However, as an updated take on a Black Manhattan, it’s likely more akin to this song. Either way, the result is a tasty (read: boozy) cocktail that is perfect for the fall.
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 oz. Knob Creek Rye
- 1/4 oz. El Dorado 12-year Rum
- 1/2 oz. Blandy’s 5-year Bual Madeira
- 1/4 oz. Fernet Branca
- 3/4 oz. Siset Vermouth
Instructions:
Stir all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice and strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with brandied cherries.
