We love a good Irish Whiskey neat, on the rocks and even in an Irish Coffee (case in point), but there so many other great cocktails being made with Irish whiskey that we decided to pay homage to them here this St. Patrick’s Day.

Ingredients:
- 2 oz Knappogue Castle 12 Year Old Irish Whiskey
- 3/4 oz Contratto Bianco
- 1 tsp Kalani Coconut Liqueur
- 1 dash Angostura Bitters
Instructions:
Stir all ingredients and strain into a cocktail glass. For the garnish, take a trimmed lemon peel, express it and insert into glass.
Goodnight Irene, See You in my Dreams
Created by Jackson Cannon of Boston’s The Hawthorne, this too may also remind you of a Manhattan but the sweet sherry notes give it an elevated taste.
Ingredients:
- 1 oz Knappogue Castle 16 Year
- 1 oz Lustua East India Sherry
- 1 oz Cynar
Instructions:
Stir all ingredients over ice and strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with a spritz of lemon oil.
Irish Garden
Bankers Hill Bar + Restaurant‘s Elizabeth Farrell created this Irish gin cocktail. It’s perfect for the person in your life who claims they don’t like whioskey.
Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz Dingle Irish Gin
- 3/4 oz house-made nettle and barley cordial
- 1 oz nasturtiums, nettle and pressed apple cider
- 1/4 oz Bigallet China-China
- 1/2 oz honey
- 1/2 oz lime
Instructions:
Stir all ingredients in a mixing glass and strain into a highball glass with ice.
Powers Crush
Created by Aaron Deary at R&D, created this light highball riff featuring a classic Irish whiskey.
Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz POWERS Gold Label
- 3/4 oz bittersweet Corsican aperitif
- 1 dash apple bitters
- 3 oz club soda
- sprig of rosemary
Instructions:
Build in Collins glass over ice. Garnish with sprig of rosemary, burn it if you’re feeling fancy.
