We’re cueing up Deep Purple for this week’s cocktail. Created by Antanas Samkus of New York’s The Beatrice Inn, this Irish whiskey cocktail was originally created for Halloween but we’re down to drink it all year long.
Ingredients:
- 2 oz The Sexton Irish Whiskey
- 1/5 oz coffee-infused aperitif
- 1/4 oz spiced meadow
Instructions:
Combine all ingredients and stir over ice, strain into a rocks glass with a big ice cube, smoke the cocktail with cherry wood. Garnish with lemon twist.
