Tis the season for red cocktails, so this week we’re featuring one created by Eryn Reece, Head Bartender at NYC’s Banzarbar. This Irish Whiskey-based cocktails features a variety of flavors that make it a complex cocktail.
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 oz Knappogue Castle 12 Year Single Malt Irish Whiskey
- 3/4 oz Earl Grey Infused Madeira*
- 3/4 oz Pimm’s
- 1/4 oz Yellow Chartreuse
- 1 tsp Bigallet China China
- 1/5 tsp Giffard Apricot
Instructions:
Add all ingredients into a mixing glass and stir. Rinse a rocks glass with Absinthe and then strain cocktail into glass.
*Earl Grey Infused Madeira: 3 tbsp Earl Grey Tea to every 1 (750ml) bottle of Madeira. Let infuse for 30 min. Strain and rebottle.
