Cocktail of the Week: Hydrix

Not all cocktails have to be sweet, some can be minty like this week’s featured tipple. Courtesy of New Orleans’ The Bower and its Bar Manager Mickey Mullins, it was inspired by the herbs the restaurant received from a local farm.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 oz mint-infused Contratto
  • 1/2 oz Wild Turkey Bourbon
  • 1/2 oz Montenegro
  • 1/2 oz lemon juice
  • Splash of Aquafaba
  • Mint for garnish

Instructions:

Add all ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice and shake. Pour into a rocks glass with fresh ice. Garnish with a sprig of mint.
