Cocktail of the Week: Honey Badger

Remember this viral video classic?

Well, he now has his own cocktail. The folks over at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa’s 18 Oaks Steakhouse whipped up this bourbon-forward cocktail. Now they may tell you its named after NFL defensive back Tyrann “Honey Badger” Mathieu who plays for the nearby Houston Texans, but we know better, don’t we.

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 oz of Clyde Mays
  • 1.5 oz of Jalapeno Honey
  • 1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • 1 oz Agave Nectar
  • Jalapeno slices
Instructions:
 
Combine all ingredients except jalapeno in shaker with ice and shake. Pour and garnish with jalapeno slices.
