As we enter this holiday season, this week’s cocktail should serve as a good reminder to give back… or at least put you in a giving mood. Nashville’s Marsh House serves up this bourbon cocktail that is sweetened with sherry and a banana liqueur.
Ingredients:
- 1 oz Buffalo Trace
- 1 oz Amontillado
- 1 oz Banane du Bresil
- 1 oz Lemon Juice
Instructions:
Pour all ingredients in a shaker and shake to combine. Then pour into a rocks glass over ice and top with a dehydrated lemon slice or a lemon peel.
To dehydrate lemons: Turn oven on lowest setting, cut fruit as thin as possible and leave in oven 6-8 hours.
