Cocktail of the Week: Glendalough Irish Coffee

As yesterday was National Irish Coffee Day, it only makes sense to feature one as this week’s cocktail. Courtesy of Glendalough Distillery, “the valley of two lakes,” a land where botanicals from Ireland’s Wicklow Mountains yield a sense of place at first sip.

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz. of Glendalough Double Barrel Irish Whiskey
  • 2 Teaspoons of Demerara Sugar
  • 4 oz. of Freshly Brewed Coffee
  • Heavy Cream
  • Coffee Beans

Instructions:

Pour freshly brewed coffee into an Irish coffee cup. Add the Demerara sugar and whiskey. Stir all ingredients and top with heavy cream. Garnish with coffee beans.
