As the weather gets colder and we head into the holidays, another season is upon us… Cuffing Season. Defined by Merriam-Webster as a period of time where single people begin looking for short-term relationship to pass the winter. This brings us to this week’s cocktail, created by Mister Mao’s Beverage Director William “Wildcat” Greenwell. Insert joke here.
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 oz Buffalo Trace Bourbon (can sub preferred bourbon)
- 3/4 oz Amara Averna
- 1/4 oz Combier Orange Liqueur
- 1/4 oz Cherry Heering
- 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
Instructions:
Combine ingredients with ice and stir (do not shake). Strain into coupe and garnish with a cherry.
