Cocktail of the Week: Covered In Bees

The-Gage-Covered-in-Bees

As you may or may not know, bees are dying rapidly. This week’s cocktail from the folks at Chicago’s The Gage was created in honor of National Honeybee Day (August 17) to honor the insect responsible for more than 1/3 of the food we eat. A portion of the proceeds of the cocktails served were donated to Chicago area-beekeepers that support the environmental health. You too can do your part and learn more about urban beekeeping, by going to here.

Ingredients:

  • 1.5oz Aberfeldy 12-year scotch
  • .25oz Drambuie
  • .5oz amaro abano

  • .25oz lemon
  • .75oz La Colombe cold-brew coffee
  • .25oz buckwheat Honey
