Manhattanhenge, those magical times of year when the sun rises or sets perfectly aligned with the east–west streets of Manhattan, will be happening for the first time this year on Monday (May 30). We decided to celebrate that by featuring another beautiful Manhattan this week, courtesy of Stranahan’s Colorado Whiskey.
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 oz Stranahan’s Original
- 3/4 oz sweet vermouth
- 3/4 oz Italian bitter liqueur (Campari)
- 2 dashes chocolate bitters
Instructions:
Combine whiskey, vermouth, liqueur and stir with ice. Pour into coupe glass and garnish with brandied cherry.
