W.L. Weller Bourbon Whiskey from Buffalo Trace Distillery recently announced a new expression from the original wheated brand, Weller Full Proof.
This new bourbon will be non-chill filtered and 114 proof, which is how Buffalo Trace fills their wheated bourbon barrels, hence the name Full Proof.
“We expect fans of Weller will be excited about this new offering,” said Kris Comstock, senior marketing director. “Bourbon drinkers are asking us for high proof and non-chill filtered bourbon more and moreBar owners and liquor stores who have selected barrels of Weller over the years will regularly request their bourbon to be non-chill filtered. It will be nice to offer Weller Full Proof as an option.”
The packaging will contain a cork stopper, like the Weller Craft Your Perfect Bourbon released last year. The Weller Full Proof will be available in limited quantities next month at a suggested retail price is $49.99.
