TX Whiskey has just launched its Tip of the Cap campaign with professional bull rider Ezekiel “Blue” Mitchell. The Tip of the Cap campaign champions Texan people, culture, and causes by partnering with inspirational Texan heroes.
A Texan through and through, Mitchell grew up between Baytown and Rockdale, Texas and made a name for himself as one of the nation’s best bull riders. His story embodies everything it means to be Texan – chasing down a dream and doing things his way with his ethos, “don’t take no for an answer.” TX Whiskey encapsulates Mitchell’s cowboy spirit with the campaign through the limited-edition caps that can be found on TX Blended Whiskey bottles. Made from his signature blue chaps, the collectable caps are a trademark TX detail that showcase an example of Western craftsmanship.
“We’re incredibly excited to unveil our ‘Tip of the Cap’ campaign alongside professional bull rider Ezekiel ‘Blue’ Mitchell,” says Ronald Harrison, Pernod Ricard Sr. Brand Manager. “This initiative is a celebration of all things Texan – its people, culture, and community causes – as we join forces with inspirational figures like Ezekiel. His journey from small-town Texas to the pinnacle of bull riding embodies the Texan spirit of resilience and determination. Through our limited-edition caps, crafted from Ezekiel’s iconic blue chaps, we’re honoring his cowboy legacy and inviting everyone to raise a glass to a true Lone Star icon.”
“As a Texan, it was a natural fit to partner with TX Whiskey for the ‘Tip of the Cap’ campaign,” says Ezekiel “Blue” Mitchell. “Both my career as a bull rider and this iconic brand celebrates the roots, resilience, and unwavering spirit of being a true cowboy. I’m proud to honor the authentic Texan values that are the foundation of my riding ethos, TX Whiskey, and our great state.”
Mitchell can currently be found riding for the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Team Series squad, the Austin Gamblers, and aspires to become the first Black cowboy to win a bull riding world title in more than four decades. His collectable caps will be available in all outlets where TX Blended Whiskey is sold for $39.99.
