The Glenlivet Reintroduces 21 Year and 25 Year

The Glenlivet has reimagined its 21 and 25 Year Old expressions, transporting them into new territories of flavor.

These new expressions were inspired by The Sample Room, the distillery’s creative epicenter. Comprised of The Glenlivet 18 Year Old, 21 Year Old and 25 Year Old, is a testament to The Glenlivet’s makers.

The Glenlivet 21 Year Old Single Malt Scotch is selectively finished in first-fill Oloroso sherry, Troncais oak Cognac and Vintage Colheita port casks. The Glenlivet 25 Year Old Single Malt Scotch is selectively finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry and Troncais oak Cognac casks.

“The Glenlivet 21 Year Old and 25 Year Old are two of our most iconic whiskies, and this has been an exciting opportunity to work as part of our new team of makers to reimagine and elevate the expressions,” said Lisa Glen, The Glenlivet Distillery Expert. “By merging the signature style of The Glenlivet with different cask finishes for layered complexity, we’ve set new standards in taste and quality.”

The Glenlivet is also introducing a new appearance for the bottle and the box – an elevated approach to the brand’s signature look while continuing to break traditions of whisky packaging and design. The color tones play on the brand’s teal palette, whilst adding a darker and rich twist with the premium copper finish. The combination of the deep blue gradient paired with distinctive and unexpected textures of embossing across the packaging.

“The Glenlivet has a heritage of pushing boundaries and setting new standards in single malt scotch,” said Jennifer Schwartz, Brand Director, The Glenlivet. “With the latest evolution of our 21 and 25 Year Old expressions and the formation of The Sample Room, we’re breaking traditional conventions of what prestigious whiskies taste and look like, and creating a new standard of modern luxury in the category with our most distinguished flavors and premium offering yet.”

The new 21 and 25 Year Old expressions from The Glenlivet are available now.
