Stranahan’s Takes On NYC For New Cask

An American Single Malt from Colorado comes East to get some flavor. Stranahan’s Colorado Whiskey recently released its first NY Rye Cask.

Crafted from a marriage of five to nine-year-old whiskey, this expression spent a minimum of two years spent in rye casks from Warwick, New York’s Black Dirt Distillery. Like all Stranahan’s expressions, the NY Rye Cask is distilled from 100% malted barley and handmade in small batches at its distillery, Colorado’s first legal distillery since Prohibition.

Stranahan’s NY Rye Cask is the latest release in the limited-edition series of Distillery Exclusives that highlight the distillery’s dedication to innovating the American single malt category with its finishing techniques.

Stranahan’s NY Rye Cask, which is 90 proof, is exclusively available for taste and purchase at the Stranahan’s distillery in Denver, Colorado for $69.99.
