Move over Black Saturday, as this Saturday (Nov. 30) Nelson’s Green Brier Distillery will unveil the fourth and final bottling of Belle Meade Bourbon’s Craftsman Cask Collection for this year, 2019: the Spanish Brandy Cask Finish.
Distillery founders Andy and Charlie Nelson took their time with this one, aging it — three years in a Spanish brandy cask. The sweet, spicy, and soul-warming flavors of this cask-finished bourbon are arriving just in time for the holidays.
The Brandy Cask Finish follows three other cask finish releases – Sherry, Madeira, and Cognac – and the newest addition to the acclaimed collection of limited, distillery-exclusive Craftsman Cask Collection releases this year – Honey, Mourvedre, and Black Belle.
Starting on “Small Business Saturday,” the limited release will be available only in the distillery gift shop starting at 10 AM for $150, while supplies last.
