Midleton Distillery announced Method And Madness, a new limited-edition range of Irish Whiskeys from its new microdistillery. The range is made up of three non-age expressions each with a twist – from a Single Grain Whiskey finished in Virgin Spanish Oak Casks (seen below), a Single Malt Whiskey enhanced in French Oak Casks (seen above), and a Single Pot Still Whiskey finished in Chestnut Casks (see below).
Midleton’s new microdistillery gave way for Method And Madness by providing the space for experimentation and exploration of different types of distillates without disrupting normal production. The name, inspired by Shakespeare’s Hamlet, reflects the microdistillery’s approach and is designed to reflect a next generation Irish spirits company with a measure of curiosity and intrigue, while still respecting its Midleton roots.
Method And Madness Single Grain Whiskey, Single Malt Whiskey, and Single Pot Still Whiskey are now available in selective markets nationwide at $60, $75, and $90 respectively.
