After years of being name dropped in songs and featured in videos, Land Rover is getting into the music game via 4xFAR, its inaugural music and adventure festival experience.
This weekend (January 18-19), the Empire Grand Oasis in Coachella Valley, CA (yes, that Coachella) will host performances by Mark Ronson & Q-Tip, Anderson .Paak and The Free Nationals featuring Kaytranada, and Sofi Tukker. The lineup also includes Young The Giant, Kurt Vile and the Violators, Maya Janes Coles, Mahalia and Tijuana Panthers, among others.
4xFAR will also be the first opportunity for fans to experience the new 2020 Land Rover Defender on a purpose-built off-road course, alongside the full range of current Land Rover vehicles. The weekend will also include displays of heritage vehicles from the brand’s storied 71-year history and parking corrals to feature Land Rover Club members.
Attendees will be able to learn fly-fishing, wilderness survival and outdoor photography; or go mountain biking, slacklining or take a yoga class. The festival will also feature a host of culinary offerings including a curated experience by celebrity chef Todd English, food trucks, and a selection of Southern California eateries.
