Jos A Magnus & Co is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its Cigar Blend Bourbon.
Originally created in 2016, the blend was developed by Master Blender Nancy Fraley as the first American whiskey designed specifically for the cigar. Drawing on her Cognac and Armagnac training, she introduced French principles of structure, oxidation, and “rancio” complexity into bourbon in a modern, intentional way.
The 10th Anniversary release is 120 proof and continues the signature profile, blending Joseph Magnus Bourbon with select 11- and 18-year-old whiskeys and finishing in Armagnac casks, delivering a rich, structured whiskey built to complement cigar smoking.
As the category-defining flagship of Jos. A. Magnus & Co., this release also marks a turning point: Nancy Fraley’s final Cigar Blend expression, closing a decade of innovation she helped define.
