Heaven’s Door Spirits, Bob Dylan’s whiskey brand, is in the midst of its second annual #ServeSomebody program, which this year focuses on donating meals to local food banks, and are giving you the opportunity to provide even more meals to the hungry.
In 2020, Covid-19 and the temporary closing of many businesses has led to over 22 million Americans losing their jobs, many of whom work in food, beverage and hospitality – the very industries that have supported the Heaven’s Door brand since inception. This has made the fight against hunger even more crucial than before, and the needs for charitable food assistance are expected to remain at elevated levels for the foreseeable future.
With a goal of donating 300,000 meals, consumers can help Heaven’s Door contribute to those in need whether dining out or enjoying a drink at home. From September 1 to October 31, for every bottle of Heaven’s Door sold, the brand will donate $1.50, the equivalent of at least 4 meals to a community in need. For every cocktail sold, Heaven’s Door will donate $0.50, the equivalent of at least 1 meal to a community in need.
Heaven’s Door also announced that Dylan is returning to his “Theme Time Radio Hour” series for a special episode to celebrate Bourbon Heritage Month. The show, whose limited run on SiriusXM’s Deep Tracks began Sept. 21, is themed “Whiskey”. Inspired by his passion for whiskey and the creation of Heaven’s Door, the new episode discusses how whiskey has shaped the world, from music to sports and everything in between. The episode will also be available on the Heaven’s Door website and social channels, Bob Dylan’s website and social channels, as well as all major streaming services.
“With the strong following that Theme Time Radio Hour attracted over its 100 episodes, we’re very excited that Bob got back in the studio to create this 101st episode around the theme of whiskey,” says Marc Bushala, CEO of Heaven’s Door Spirits. “This new episode gives Bob Dylan fans and whiskey fans some new content to enjoy while at home. We are also humbled to take action in support of people across the country in need of food with our Serve Somebody philanthropic program.”
Heaven’s Door’s portfolio of whiskeys is available nationwide.
