Whiskey is being all over the country — from New York City to Seattle… and now Hawaii! Ko‘olau Distillery, one of Hawaii’s few whiskey producers, is now bringing its Old Pali Road Whiskey to the continental United States.
Old Pali Roas’s light, corn-forward notes come from a locally-grown corn mash that gives the whiskey a nice sweetness.
For those who do make it to the islands for a visit, Ko‘olau is now offering tours Wednesday through Sunday.
Ko‘olau Distillery is the vision of close friends and U.S. Marine Corps veterans LtCol Eric Dill and LtCol Ian Brooks, who teamed up with 15-year beverage professional Heather Pence to produce Old Pali Road. Located in the foothills of the Ko‘olau Mountains, the distillery blends the naturally volcanic-rock-filtered, alkaline water with its ingredients to produce whiskey, one bottle at a time.
Customers can purchase bottles of Old Pali Road via the distillery’s new online store for $59.99.
