This week’s cocktail comes courtesy of Yardbird Southern Table & Bar. Their signature punch is tart and tangy with just the right amount of sweetness made with bourbon, blackberry purée, fresh lemon, cardamom & Angostura Bitters
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 oz Wild Turkey 81 Bourbon
- 3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
- 3/4 oz simple syrup
- 1/2 oz blackberry puree
- 1 dash Angostura Bitters
- 2 each cardamom pods
- 2 1/2 oz club soda
- lemon wheel
- blackberry
Instructions:
Add whiskey, Aperol, simple syrup, lemon juice and watermelon juice into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake until chilled and strain into a Mason Jar filled with ice and top with soda water. Garnish with a lemon wheel and blackberry.
