Last week, we shared how you can just buy a boozy eggnog for the holidays. This week’s cocktail, another large format one, is for those who want to make their own, courtesy of Basil Hayden
Ingredients:
- 1 750mL Basil Hayden Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey
- 1 quart milk
- 1 quart heavy cream
- 2 dozen eggs
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- Nutmeg
Instructions:
Separate eggs. Beat yolks until creamy. Whip sugar into yolks. Beat whites until they stand in peaks, adding 1/2 cup additional sugar, if desired. Beat yolks and Basil Hayden® Bourbon together. Add whites. Beat cream. Add cream and milk to the mixture. Add nutmeg to taste. Garnish each cup with nutmeg.
