Irish luxury hotel group The Doyle Collection recently opened its new D.C. bar Doyle (formerly known as Bar Dupont) following an extensive renovation.
Their new craft cocktail menu, helmed by bar director Mehdi Bouzaki, features modern takes on classics like the Old Fashioned, Manhattan and daiquiri. There are also several innovative originals, including the Avocolada, a mix of rum, coconut, avocado and pineapple and Washington Sour cocktail with Filibuster Bourbon, Chambord, lemon and egg white. Meanwhile, culinary consultant Karine Bakhoum — known as “The Iron Palate” — has added bites like burrata cheese, bay scallops and braised short ribs to the menu.
