Aged & Ore first made a name for themselves with whiskey fans last year with its Duo Glass. This year, the Chicago-based glass and barware brand has returned with a new product that will help you take your favorite spirits on the go, wherever you’re going — The Aged & Ore Travel Decanter.
The Aged & Ore Travel Decanter will carry wine, whiskey or whatever in its 500ml hand blown glass decanter. It also includes a custom-designed silicone and stainless steel stopper and a wide mouth neck big enough for ice cubes. The glass decanter is protected by two stainless steel tumblers which lock together, creating a leak-proof and shock-proof “whiskey capsule.” The tumblers are double walled for insulation, include a 2oz etched pour indicator, and are designed to fit perfectly and comfortably into the hand. The decanter is designed to have a capacity of exactly 2/3 a bottle, so spirits collectors can bring something special to share generously, but still keep the last bit at home for themselves. The decanter is available in three designer finishes – matte black, brushed stainless and gloss white.
“After 2018’s great success with Aged & Ore’s Duo Glass, we wanted to create another solution to another problem among whiskey drinkers,” said Aged & Ore co-founder Roberto Meza. “We’ve always found it difficult to travel with bourbon, whether getting on a flight or going on a weekend trip in the car. We always hesitated to bring our favorite bottle out of fear of breaking it or leaving it behind. This solution allows us to have everything we need in a nice compact, sophisticated profile. Of course, wine and cocktails work great in it too!”
Last year, Aged & Ore’s Kickstarter campaign for Duo Glass became a success, with their goal of $11,000 being surpassed by a total of $184,000 in pledges.
